Decline of Advanced Programs
- FHPS has a demonstrated decline in the number of “Challenge” classes offered as well as a reduction of the gifted programs and advanced curriculum.
- The District began eliminating English, Social Studies and Science Challenge classes from the Middle Schools in 2019. Math alone remains.
- Honors classes in Biology and Chemistry are no longer offered for high school freshmen and sophomores.
Books in classrooms and libraries
- Inappropriate books that contain pornography and other vulgar content have been found throughout FHPS.
- There is no oversight, standards or database for classroom libraries.
